week 3 - SOUND exercise
Create a short scene or interactive, where an established equilibrium within an environment is disturbed by a sudden or intrusive sound or sounds.
This is a very open brief, the purpose of this exercise is to make you to think about sound as the primary, inciting or catalystic element within your scene as well as one that works to support the image. Please consider all of the elements of soundtrack in your response; will you use atmospherics or evironment sounds, sound effects, dialogue and music for example? Or just a few?
Please submit this exercise as an interactive or linear treatment. If anyone wishes to submit their script in Screen Australia script form, please do. From next week onwards, you will be submitting your linear works in Screen Australia script format, we will go through the form in next weeks' class. You will find links to downloadable PDF's of the Script Format at the bottom right hand side of this page.
